Intro to Watercolor + Ink

Looking for new ways to expand your watercolor practice, or just looking for something new to try? Learn how to use watercolor and ink together to create illustrative paintings.
In this class, we will go over some of the basics of watercolors before diving into how to combine watercolors with waterproof ink to create illustrative pieces. We will paint on and go over the differences in hot press watercolor paper, cold press watercolor paper, and toned watercolor paper.
All materials for this class are included.
Cancellation Policy: We will refund 50% for any cancellation made at least eight days before the class. After 8 days, we are unable to provide refunds for any reason, including illness. If you cannot attend after registration, you are welcome to gift your tuition to a friend at no charge. We do not transfer tuition from one class to another.

| Instructor Bio: | Arianna Meisner is a local artist in love with learning about every medium she can get her hands on. Though she specializes in printmaking and gouache, she also paints in watercolor, oil, and acrylics, draws, and enjoys using alcohol markers. She loves painting outside and showing people how to create art on the go. In the 2025 Sylvania Plein Air Festival she was awarded runner up in the emerging category. |
