UNDERGLAZE WORKSHOP AT OWENS COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Location: Owens Community College Ceramic Studio, 7270 Biniker Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551 (Second floor, Room 214)
Join Jules Webster, potter and owner of The Art Supply Dep?, for a free demonstration and hands-on workshop. Jules will share tips and tricks for underglaze painting using brushes, squeeze bottles, and Mayco’s Designer Liner. Participants will practice on a provided 6x6" low-fire bisque tile using Mayco Fundamentals Underglaze and Mayco NTBR Clear One Brushing Glaze.Please note that the provided tiles should be fired at home at cone 06 (1830°F). Participants are also welcome to bring their own bisque form of a similar size if they prefer to use their own clay body and overglaze.
Logistics:
All materials are provided by The Art Supply Depo and Mayco. We advise students to arrive 10 minutes early. Please use the specific address for the Fine and Performing Arts Center (7270 Biniker Rd.) to avoid getting lost. Parking is free in the lot across from the turnaround circle.
