Intro to Landscapes in Oil Pastels
Have you ever wanted to create with oil pastels? This class will intoduce the basics of using oil pastels to create a simple landscape painting.
In this class, students will learn various oil pastel techniques such as blending colors and how to paint trees, foilage and sky. You will also learn how to create and use a grid system to transfer an existing photo, in pencil, to a blank painting work surface.
Your instructor will supply pencils, eraser, paper, ruler, and bristol board painting surface.
Students must bring or buy: a 12 pc set of oil pastels and a reference photo of a landscape you'd like to create. Your instructor will supply all other materials.
Cancellation Policy: We will refund 50% for any cancellation made at least eight days before the class. After 8 days, we are unable to provide refunds for any reason, including illness. If you cannot attend after registration, you are welcome to gift your tuition to a friend at no charge. We do not transfer tuition from one class to another.
