Tuscan Landscapes in Acrylic

Interested in painting landscapes in acrylic? This is the perfect guided course to get you started! Mary Jane will walk you through the steps to create a beautiful painting of a Tuscan vineyard for you to take home and cherish.
Create your escape with local artist, Mary Jane Erard.
This course is a 3 hour session that will explore acrylic on canvas with a focus on acrylic techniques.
Multiple source photos to choose from. Photos will range in difficulty from easy to more detailed.
You will learn how:
- to manipulate acrylic in an impressionistic style.
- and when to layer color for maximum impact, and learn some color theory is employed in this technique.
- to create depth with texture.
-how to use stencils to create buildings
In addition to these techniques the class will learn from each other how each student approached their process to create a successful painting. After a short demonstration students will have the entire class to create their art.

| Instructor Bio: | Mary Jane Erard is an award-winning artist painting mostly in soft pastel and mixed media with acrylic. Her works are usually rural landscapes of the US and Europe. Mary Jane's artwork is owned by many private collectors and included in several corporate collections. She has exhibited in many group and solo exhibitions since the mid 1990s. |
