MAKE BEAUTIFUL WASHI EGGS



In this workshop, students will learn the techniques to make two decorative Washi Eggs. Washi eggs are commonly created at Easter time using Japanese Yuzen Paper, glue, scissors, and varnish. Washi Egg expert Judy Cattran with demonstrate the skills required to cut and wrap real hollowed eggs with decorative washi papers. Washi eggs are a lovely holiday or everyday decoration that will brighten your home, or can be given as a gift.

Materials Provided:
Two hollowed eggshells per person
Decorative Yuzen Japanese papers
Cooked rice paste and applicator brushes
Paper measuring tape
Centimeter Ruler

Please bring or buy the following materials if you have them:
Sharp craft scissors
Small 90 degree cm triangle

Cancellation Policy: We will refund 50% for any cancellation made at least eight days before the class. After 8 days, we are unable to provide refunds for any reason, including illness. If you cannot attend after registration, you are welcome to gift your tuition to a friend at no charge. We do not transfer tuition from one class to another.
