How to work in Plein Air: A Guided Open Studio

This is a low pressure way to ease into painting and working in Plein Air! Plein Air painting is all about stepping out of the four walls of a studio and experiencing painting directly from observation. We'll go over all of the basics of what to bring, how to approach plein air, and head outside to start painting! 

This will be a laid back, supportive environment meant to give people a space to practice, ask questions, and learn the tools that help make plein air less intimidating.

Students should bring or buy a sketchbook or surface to work on and any materials they want to use during class and a chair. Your instructor will provide assorted supplies to play with and try as well!

Cancellation Policy: We will refund 50% for any cancellation made at least eight days before the class. After 8 days, we are unable to provide refunds for any reason, including illness. If you cannot attend after registration, you are welcome to gift your tuition to a friend at no charge. We do not transfer tuition from one class to another. If this class is cancelled due to low registration, students will be notified and refunded three days prior to when the initial class would have taken place.
