Intro to Block Printing

In this class we will cover all things printmaking, from the different surfaces you can carve to create a print, to the different papers and techniques you can use with your prints, to the basics on all of the tools of the trade.
We will discuss the difference between water based and oil based inks, before helping students to create their own one of a kind prints. Printmaking is a very rewarding and unique practice that your instructor can't wait to share with you!
Students must bring or buy a 4x6 speedycarve pink block. These are available at the Art Supply Depo.
Cancellation Policy: We will refund 50% for any cancellation made at least eight days before the class. After 8 days, we are unable to provide refunds for any reason, including illness. If you cannot attend after registration, you are welcome to gift your tuition to a friend at no charge. We do not transfer tuition from one class to another.

| Instructor Bio: | Arianna Meisner works at the Art Supply Depo in Sylvania and is the resident expert on all things printmaking. She has fallen absolutely in love with the medium and looks forward to showing others how amazing printmaking can be. She has a degree in education from the University of Toledo. |
